One Quiet Presence explores the comfort found not in answers, but in compassion — in the gentle strength of someone simply being there. Through faith and reflection, it reminds us that even in life’s darkest moments, love and presence can bring peace to the soul.
One Quiet Presence
In shadows of doubt, where the light feels thin,
I seek not answers, but solace within.
I look for one quiet presence, someone kind,
To anchor my spirit, a sheltering pine.
When I falter and feel that I’ve lost my way,
God, I pray, may one quiet presence stay.
Through their calm, I’ll sense His comforting embrace,
A reflection of my Savior, His mercy and grace.
No words are needed, no clever disguise—
Just one quiet presence, with love in their eyes.
Not someone to fix me or carry my pain,
But to sit by my side through the wind and the rain.
Not to chase off shadows or quiet my strife,
These storms are my own, their lessons in life.
My burdens are mine, my own trials to bear,
Yet one quiet presence can show me they care.
When the night falls and my path is unknown,
Will you stand by my side so I’m not alone?
One quiet presence, so steadfast, so true,
Brings peace to the soul and hope shining through.
