“Gone Hustling” is a heartfelt tribute to the bonds created around the pool table. For those whose competitive spirit still lingers in the league halls, this poem honors the love of the game and the friends who keep the hustle alive.

Gone Hustling

When pool league starts without me,
and my cue no longer plays,
Remember the good times that we shared,
let those memories light your way.

In the hush of the hall, hear my laughter,
in the clack of the balls, find my touch,
In the shadow of cues, feel my presence,
for in this game, I loved so much.

May all the rolls be in your favor,
your strokes flow smooth and clean.
And when doubt creeps into your mind,
know I’m cheering for you, unseen.

So chalk up, take aim, and break strong,
play your best, as I would too.
For every shot and every game,
in spirit, I hustle along with you.
