“I Don’t Know” is a heartfelt poem by David Ritter about faith, prayer, and finding peace in life’s uncertainties. This reflective piece reminds readers that when we don’t have the answers, God always does. Through gentle trust and honest reflection, it offers comfort and calm in times of doubt.

I Don’t Know

When life brings questions I can’t bear,
I find a quiet place of prayer.
In whispered tones, my heart will say,
“I don’t know, Lord, show the way.”

Lost in shadows, feeling small,
Seeking comfort through it all.
With trembling heart, I humbly pray,
Guide me gently, come what may.

I don’t know where the road will bend,
How or when, my life will end.
I don’t know how to calm my mind,
Or what true peace I’ll ever find.

I don’t know how to face the pain,
Or how to shelter from the rain.
I don’t know where to find the light,
Or how to make what’s wrong turn right.

With faith so small, yet strong and true,
I lift my fears and doubts to You.
And though my path is steep and rough,
I trust that You will be enough.

So here I leave my “I don’t know,”
For in Your hands, I let it go.
I walk away with peace anew,
For God, I know, will see me through.
