Daddy’s Prayers
Dear Precious Child,
Let your Daddy’s prayers guide you
down the path you choose to trod,
so when you reach your journey’s end,
you will be face-to-face with God.
And may He look down upon you
with a forever-pleasing smile,
’cause Daddy’s prayers alerted Him
to your every step and mile.
No need to ever worry
how or where the course may lead,
if Daddy’s not near to help you,
surely God will provide each need.
In times when Daddy can’t be near,
loneliness may invade your heart.
Let your Daddy’s prayers guide you,
so we may never be apart.
